Your Chakras and You (Part 7)

Ajna, which means “to perceive or command” is the Third Eye Chakra. The Third Eye Chakra is connected with awareness.

Associated with the element of Light, this Energy Center connects us to our internal intuition, and is responsible for the sharp senses, the ability to read the future, and receive nonverbal messages. It is located in the center of your forehead.

If your Third Eye Chakra is blocked, expect sleep problems and disorientation. You may also experience:

• Daydreaming

• Hallucinations

• Delusions

A blocked Third Eye Chakra may also experience some physical and mental signs, including:

• Fatigue

• Lack of assertiveness

• Inability to listen to others

• Memory issues

• Difficulty hearing

• Dizziness

• Headaches

• Confusion

• Nightmares

When you activate the Ajna and it is working effectively you:

• Experience high mental ability

• Are able to separate between reality and imagination and best combine logic and emotion

• Experience overall good health, clear, thinking, and focus

• Are intuitive and empathic of others

• Trust your thoughts and feelings

To activate, unblock and balance your 6th Chakra, connect with Light by spending time visualizing a bright light. In that bright light is an indigo orb. That is your third eye.

The Mudra Hand Gesture recommended to help with the meditation is known as the Kaleshwar (meaning "The Lord of Time"). Make a heart with your hands, bring the middle fingers up so the tips are touching, and the remaining fingers are knuckle to knuckle:

Use Tanzanite during meditation to help draw the energy from the power of Light.

The Mantra for Ajna is OM
